Hello there, I’m Igor from Zagreb in Croatia. I’m writing a blog in 2026 because I want a personal space unencumbered by ads, algorithms and corporate interests. There are no likes, stories or comments here. It feels liberating.

I like to tinker with old audio gear, but that won’t be the only thing you’ll find here. I also enjoy taking photos from time to time, cooking, learning Dutch, making mixtapes (and I do mean tapes) and solving problems with code (embedded engineer by day). I’m also the author of OpenDeck , the DIY solution for building MIDI controllers which is by now used all around the world by other tinkerers, professionals, institutions and probably many other places I’m not aware of. Mostly I’ll be posting some of the more interesting projects I’ll be working on here, some photos here and there and whatever else I find interesting at any particular moment.
